The VP Financial Planning & Analysis makes an impact by – Lead Company annual plan and quarterly forecast for the total Company P&L, balance sheet and cash flowPrepare business segment profitabilitySupport team with quarterly deduction estimate updates including Trade Promotion, Slotting, Coupons and Unsalable itemsMonthly Sales Consensus alignment and communicationOversee Cash Flow forecasting understanding liquidity needs guiding decision making process on potential borrowings as well as vendor paymentsCustomer and product level profitabilityPartner with Sales and to develop and update customer and product level P&Ls for forecasts ensuring profitability and appropriate levels of trade spendResponsible for integrating customer and product level P&Ls into our culture as a necessary tool for evaluating customer performance and effectively managing our resources towards improved profitabilityIncorporate customer and product level P&Ls into the decision-making process, including for new business opportunitiesPricing StrategyResponsible for periodically evaluating pricing strategy and developing recommendations for enhancementsModeling Financial Impact of all pricing decisions by different characteristics such as customer, pack type, etc.Trade SpendingPartner with Sales teams and Customer Development on the budgeting, forecasting and reporting of customer trade spending including promotions, slotting expense, coupons and allowances. Report on performance to Senior Management.Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on processing trade expense from estimate to final payment, in close coordination with the accounting teamPerform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines.Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements. Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems. Is accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.Demonstrates knowledge of continuous improvement and lean methodology.Works effectively with department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.Perform all other duties as assigned.You could be a great fit if you have these things – BS in Accounting/Finance or related discipline12+ years of related, progressive experienceExperience in the food industry manufacturing highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targetedAbility to lead and influence diverse, cross-functional teamsAbility to help business teams create business objectives and then translate these into operations specific goals and programs.Ability to understand business activities with a view broader than just the finance functionAbility to manage multiple, critical projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentConsiderable knowledge of computer programs, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, formulas) & ERP Systems.
