About the Team The Marketing Team's primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. We have fun moving projects from concept to reality, and discovering what works well to help Subsplash and our clients succeed.
About the Role As the VP of Marketing, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, and will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Subsplash's business objectives. The right person for this role will have a data-driven approach that blends well with intuition. This person must be able to clearly demonstrate an understanding of our mission and our clients. This role oversees all marketing activities, including brand management, product positioning, market research, advertising, public relations, sponsors and partnerships, and digital marketing. The VP of Marketing will work closely with the executive team to drive revenue growth, bring delight to our clients, and drive us toward our vision of equipping every church, while enhancing the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities You will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will oversee and have a detailed understanding of all aspects of our marketing operations and analytics to provide clarity in marketing efforts. You will lead and mentor a marketing team of 10-15, attract great talent, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment and support across marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will spearhead along with the leadership team the launch of new product features and services. You will build and expand our brand presence through storytelling, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and participation in industry events. You will drive client awareness and adoption of our platform. You will manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and growth opportunities. You will utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and refine strategies based on insights and performance metrics. You will stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, and adapt marketing strategies to maintain our competitive edge. You will report on marketing performance and strategic initiatives to the executive team and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Qualifications You display our core values of Humility, Innovation, and Excellence. You have 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally with a high growth SaaS company. You are passionate about serving our clients. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. You are a visionary leader with a track record of driving significant growth and achieving marketing objectives. You are both creative and analytical, able to blend storytelling with data-driven insights to craft compelling marketing strategies. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and you are capable of inspiring and leading diverse teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications You have experience in scaling marketing efforts at a growth-stage company, navigating the challenges that come with rapid expansion. You have an MBA or other advanced degree. You have Marketing experience with our clients Compensation The total compensation for this role will be $200,000 - $300,000/yr.
Location Subsplash currently has operations in 24 states across the US! As much as we would love to have employees in as many states and countries as we have clients, we are currently limiting hiring to the states we already operate in. As a result of that, this role is only available as a 100% remote position if you reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, MO, MI, NC, NM, OK, OH, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WY.
