We deliver the Valendo Health Value Based Endocrinology Program in three phases:
Implement virtual care visits and remote monitoring for patients with diabetes
Centralize and streamline practice operations
Develop and manage value-based care contracts
About the JobAs the VP of Practice Operations, you will share our passion for improving healthcare and play a key role in the effort to implement virtual care services within our initial endocrinology practice customers, in collaboration with Cecelia Health, our virtual care partner. In addition, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities and processes for improving, streamlining and scaling practice operations. This role will also be involved in the care and risk management activities associated with succeeding in value-based care contracts.
You will oversee provider partnerships, establishing operational significance of our virtual care services and instituting operational workflows that help to achieve our goal of providing a world class patient experience and an improvement in clinical outcomes.
You will report to and work with the stealth venture's CEO. This position can be fully remote within the United States, but will require regular travel to practice partners around the country and to Valendo Health's headquarters in Boston.
What you'll do:Define and create an operational workflow designed to integrate virtual care services into practice operationsOversee the daily operations of our program across multiple endocrinology practices, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality patient careEstablish continuous feedback loops with the clinical team; work with the care team to address any bottlenecks and document best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness as we scaleCollaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and external partners to enhance service delivery and drive practice growthIdentify and execute opportunities for Valendo Health to develop centralized, value-added management services as part of the company's Phase 2 offeringProactively identify opportunities through new practice partnership, provider recruiting, and new product development opportunitiesWhat you'll need:5+ years of medical practice management and leadership experienceSignificant operational experience with progressive leadership responsibilities and an entrepreneurial orientationPractice management experience, preferably in endocrinology or similar type of medical specialtyExperience building and managing operational teams and outside business partners to deliver products or services that impact patient outcomesExperience with financial management, data analysis, and healthcare technology toolsExperience implementing and billing for telehealth and/or care management services such as CCM, PCM, RPM, CGM, DSMT, MNT etc. is preferredTech-enabled and telehealth experience is preferredValue-based care experience is preferredBachelor's Degree, Master's preferredWhat you'll bring to the table:Proven ability to build relationships with medical practicesIntegrated understanding of how practice operations tie in with product strategy, go-to-market, and fundraisingStrong analytical and project management skillsEntrepreneurial spiritPassion for improving healthcare for patients and providersWho you are:Optimizes Work Processes: You are aware of the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, and are focused on continuous improvement.Collaborates and Communicates: You work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives, partnering with others to get work done and crediting others for their contributions and accomplishments.Action-Oriented: You readily take action on new opportunities with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
