ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position exists to bridge the gaps between market needs, Sales, Product Development and Operations.
The role is responsible for driving product strategy and roadmaps and setting priorities based on input from Customers, Sales, Product Development and Operations.
The role will also be the lead on Strategic Partnerships for Superior Essex Communications.
It is a key role for driving organic growth and identifying inorganic opportunities.
This person will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team for Superior Essex Communications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development and execution of product roadmap and business plans for all product lines.
Understand Voice of the Customer and Market needs to grow and expand product lines and services to ensure high customer value, market share gain and net profitability improvement.
Develop strategic growth plans for business lines identifying and supporting business cases for investment supporting the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes.
Lead the development and maintenance of marketing benchmarks for competitive analysis and market trend analysis and reporting.
Identify, establish and collaborate with strategic partners.
Be a thought leader internally and externally.
Attend trade shows and industry events as needed Work closely with all functions within the business including Sales, Operations and Finance Participate in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Ability to effectively and efficiently manage and keep projects on-track.
Experience in the data center market / ecosystem preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or similar 15+ years of industry experience.
Communications products experience preferred, especially Data Center Experience in setting strategies for business lines and product sets and then successfully executing on that vision working collaboratively across a manufacturing organization COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Must have functional working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
