We are seeking a skilled leader to serve as the Vice President of Retirement, overseeing our group retirement plans, ensuring compliance, and guiding clients through complex plan structures and regulatory landscapes. Position Overview : The VP of Retirement will lead our retirement plan advisory services, managing two direct reports and serving as the subject matter expert for all retirement-related functions. The ideal candidate will be an ERISA expert with extensive experience in compliance, plan amendments, and retirement plan administration. They will manage complex group retirement plans, oversee mergers and acquisitions as they relate to retirement programs, and ensure compliance with 401k audit requirements. Key Responsibilities : Serve as the lead advisor for retirement plan design and administration, providing expert guidance on multiple retirement plan options. Produce and present quarterly investment reviews for clients. Manage complex group retirement plans and oversee plan amendments. Ensure compliance with all ERISA regulations, including compensation codes and their impact on payroll. Guide clients through mergers and acquisitions as they relate to retirement plans, ensuring smooth transitions. Lead 401k audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Provide expert advisory services on retirement plans, staying current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Oversee two direct reports, providing mentorship and leadership to the retirement team. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree required NASD Series 65 or 66 required NASD Series 6 or 7 & 63 preferred Retirement Consulting Designations 10+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, with a strong background in ERISA and group retirement plans. Expertise in compliance, 401k audits, and retirement plan mergers and acquisitions. Ability to manage complex retirement plans and offer strategic solutions to clients. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in reviewing and producing quarterly investment reports. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing a team.
