At VVater, starting salaries are expressed as base salaries for sales roles. Additional compensation from sales commissions and short-term incentives are also part of the compensation package for a VP of Sales. VP of Real Estate and Aquatics Sales responsibilities are: Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsImplementing and executing strategic plansBuilding and maintaining good customer relationshipsCommunicating effectively among clients and higher managersCreating reports on sales performanceUnderstanding category-specific landscapes and trendsExtensive experience with the management of CRM-based software like Salesforce or Hubspot.Establish sales objectives through forecasting through a sales processDevelop annual sales quotas for regions and territoriesImplement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans and reviewing sales performanceMaintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competitors, and supply and demand indicators.Complete sales operation requirements by scheduling, assigning sales team members, and following up on work results.Maintained national sales staff through regular recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.Employ assistance from sales-focused freelancers or consultants to ensure quotas are consistently met.Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.Project expected sales volume and profit for new and existing products.Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
