VP of Systems Engineering Our client is a Silicon Valley hardware startup revolutionizing AI training performance. The Opportunity: Our client is looking for a visionary VP of Systems Engineering to join our executive team. This role is crucial in driving the development and deployment of our solutions. You'll have a unique opportunity to influence the direction and success of our cutting-edge networking products. Key Responsibilities: Direct complex systems-related initiatives, defining strategic approaches, requirements, specifications, and designs.Align and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive strategies in Systems Engineering that cover Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Cost, and Supply Chain.Drive system-level design specifications, analysis, and trade-offs, setting hardware and software requirements and integration tests.Manage and lead teams across Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Software Engineering domains.Strong knowledge of Ethernet networking protocols, ensuring robust and efficient designs.The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Over 15 years of experience in hardware systems architecture and development with a focus on networking, particularly in data centers.A proven track record of successfully introducing innovative hardware and software solutions to the market.Deep understanding of modern data center architectures, particularly related to AI/ML workloads.Experience in direct engagements with large technology firms.Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing diverse engineering teams.An advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.What Sets You Apart: Expertise in AI/ML infrastructure and a strong grasp of the challenges.Successful history of product launches in data center or AI infrastructure spaces.Agility and proficiency in fast-paced startup environments, capable of driving rapid development cycles.
