This brand-new and pivotal role will drive the technology strategy that supports our mission, aligning engineering excellence with ambitious revenue goals and customer impact.
The ideal candidate will foster a culture of innovation and excellence, empowering our people to deliver impactful, user-centered solutions that drive Yardzen's success.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the Engineering, Product and Data teams, including Product Engineering, Product Design, Product Management, Data, and Tech Architecture.Align technology development with revenue growth goals, ensuring that product innovation and engineering efforts directly contribute to the company's top-line growth.Focus on driving engineering velocity by optimizing development processes, removing roadblocks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features and products.Drive continuous improvement within the product and engineering lifecycle, from ideation to release, prioritizing efficiency.Ideate with the CEO to shape a product vision that continually innovates and drives the business and outdoor home renovation industry forward, delighting homeowners with ease where burden, complexity and inefficiency otherwise exist.Along with the Head of Product, translate that product vision into actionable plans, leading the team in creating roadmaps, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality execution.Scale and grow the technology team responsibly.Mentor and lead, building a strong innovation and performance culture.Qualifications:Track record of exponential product-led growth and rewarded performance culture.12+ years of experience in developing and growing a technology-led organization; managing Product, Engineering and Data functions.A career full of managing product roadmaps from concept through execution, culminating in big, growth-driving results, with an emphasis on user-centered design and agile methodologies.Experience in applying and implementing new technology (AI).Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.Understanding that at Yardzen's stage, it's critical that leaders are simultaneously in the work and strategically visioning.
