Under the role successful candidates would be required to deliver against the following roles and responsibilities of a COE Product Business Analyst:

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Collaborate with the Product Owner, Business, SMEs, and End Users to gather and develop story level requirements in JIRA that allows the Development Team to deliver consistent level of high-quality code.
Act as a central point between the Product Owner and Development Team
Act as a central point to manage defects.
Required to participate in all agile /sprint activities (planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, standups, and design)
May lead Business Analysts on specific projects.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Create and Maintain Story level functional, non-functional requirements and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA (excluding technical tasks)
Write and elaborate stories to align with definition of "Ready for Development" whilst also ensuring alignment to the operating model/ data models:
Augment stories with additional materials as required, including wireframes, flow diagrams etc.
Write stories that are granular to achieve 4-week sprint.
Ensure story addresses problem statement and achieves business outcome.
Write Acceptance Criteria in Gherkin language, ready to be used in automated testing as required.
Validate stories with cross functional stakeholders, including Product Owner, Business, SMEs, and End Users to gather requirements and desired outcomes.
Testing/Implementation
Write outcomes and Acceptance Criteria (as captured under requirements) including negative tests, ready to be used in creation of test scripts.
Review test cases with testers to ensure test results meet expected outcomes as defined in acceptance criteria.
Review testing failures to identify potential missed / new requirements or defects.
Log identified defects in JIRA, and work with Scrum Lead and Dev team for resolution.
Validate story acceptance at end of sprint.
Production/ Operational Readiness
Prepare and circulate release notes, as a part of operational readiness
Support other Ops readiness activities as delegated by Product Owner

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $145,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
