The VP Product role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to pioneer the application of generative AI to disrupt the market for data application design, development, testing, and deployment.
Purgo AI taps the unique strengths of generative AI to offer a compelling alternative to traditional methods for application development, maintenance, and migration that are people-driven, time-consuming, and error-prone.
The successful leader will lead this generative AI-driven disruption in a large addressable market and empower innovative customers & partners to embrace this new technology within their application development and DevOps processes.
The person in this role will partner closely with the co-founder & CTO to build the Purgo AI product roadmap and deliver product releases.
This position will be based in the SF Bay Area.
RequirementsResponsibilitiesDrive Purgo AI's product vision, direction, and business plans, including product plans/roadmaps, product evolution, and product lifecycle.Develop functional specifications for product features to include user interface design, product validation testing, and usability testing, while ensuring that the product strategy is adhered to throughout the product life cycle.Develop new use cases for the Purgo AI platform, identifying and assessing business opportunities and determining strategic fit conditioned by technical feasibility.Work closely with engineering to drive development prioritization at the fast pace of an early-stage startup.Derive measures to quantify the product's accuracy to deliver customer delight.Identify, develop joint solutions and projects with strategic partners like cloud data platforms (e.g.
Snowflake, Databricks, Google, Azure, AWS etc.)
and service providers that provide data application development services.Gather, validate, and evaluate product and market requirements through customer engagement, market research, and competitive research.Develop and drive product pricing across multiple sales channels.Evangelize Purgo AI in industry-wide forums and with partners, customers, and analysts.About youYou have an engineering background with deep understanding of databases, data applications, BI applications, and machine learning & modelling.You have deep experience with cloud data platforms (e.g.
Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric etc.
)You have a deep understanding of modern DevOps (e.g.
Atlassian) and agile tooling applications.You have good understanding of Generative AI & machine learning.Exposure to test methodologies like behavior-driven design is desirable.You have experience with the organization and processes in DevOps, rapid release cycles, and agile methodologies.You are smart, get things done, have great energy, and thrive in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment.You have a track record of bringing disruptive technologies to market.About the CompanyPurgo AI is an application design studio powered by generative AI, which interprets high-level business problem statements and generates design, source code, and deployment of data applications over cloud data warehouses.
