Citi Wealth Management Operations Analytics provides critical analytics and reporting to all lines of business and regions within Citi's Global Wealth Management organization. The Analytics team drives value for our partners and stakeholders by delivering proactive analytics on operations performance and
customer behavior in our servicing channels across various products, identifying transformational opportunities and ensuring operations efficiently meets customer service commitments.
The Wealth Management Operations Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for driving critical analytics data discovery and enablement, leading analytics projects and partnering with various business, technology and operations teams to identify and drive strategic changes or new data metrics solutioning.
Responsibilities
Supports Wealth Operations functions through data analysis, business intelligence, recommendation and communication of business needs and requirements.
Champions new data discovery and solutioning, and partnering with various business, technology, operations teams to drive data implementation or strategic improvement.
Conducts or leads in-depth and often advanced data analytics in order to evaluate hypothesis, identify actionable opportunities for productivity, operational performance or client experience enhancement, and quantify respective impacts or benefits through various data analytics methodologies, techniques and data environments.
Utilizes excellent communication skills in order to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, tell a management story upon analytics insights to gain executive level traction, and recommend next best course of actions.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations, and draws on diverse range of internal and external sources.
Manages analytics projects end to end, accountable for end results.
Qualifications
10 years of relevant experience in financial services with knowledge of operations or wealth management. Experience with analytics in wealth management strongly preferred
A change agent with strong discovery mindset and abilities to pioneer research in new data, analytics tools or approaches
Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within the overall business to achieve objectives within complex organizational structure and fast-paced working environment.
Understanding of various analytics methods and data platforms, knowledge of advanced statistical or data science techniques and how to apply such to drive substantial business results.
Technical skillsets with proficiency required in at least one of the following programming languages: SQL/SAS/Python/R, Big Data knowledge and experience preferred.
