Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a VTOC Network Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Provides VTC Operational Support for all conference rooms and private offices Performs new installations, implement upgrades, modify existing installations on multiple vendor models of collaboration endpoints
Scheduling and managing local and remote AV/VTC events, to include scheduling of physical room space when required
Assists customers with scheduling conflicts of conference rooms and or VTCs on multiple networks
Develops documentation such as diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and topology diagrams to be utilized by different levels of support staff for troubleshooting.
Schedules Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) VTCs using the JWICS scheduling system integrated with TMS for external Agencies
Monitors VTCs using the Tele-presence Management Suite (TMS)
Monitors live VTCs for audio/video issues
Takes remote control of ongoing VTCs for additional customer support
Provides remote support using VNC Viewer
Provides in person technical support when required
Acts as first responders (identify problems)
Resolves scheduling conflicts as they occur
Assists with recording of VTC sessions
Provides customers with individual/group training upon request.
Generates Tier 1-3 incident tickets in ServiceNow
Provides Closed Captioning Support for all Tier 1 VTC for the hearing-impaired community
Provides user education and training on VTC equipment and other basic hardware and software functions
Clearance Required: TS/SCI Clearance w/ ability to obtain CI Poly
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of prior relevant experience (Experience in lieu of degree).
Required Certifications: Security+ Required Skills: Working knowledge of the OSI model Experience or knowledge of Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) CISCO Telepresence 6000, 8000 MXP, EX90, DX80, SX20 H323, H320 and SIP protocols Strong work ethic and attention to detail Strong time management skills and ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements Ability to work independently on projects and/or tasks Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and strong communication skills.
