Job Description: WALL MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST Hours: Vary, Non-Exempt Reports to: Head Setter / Assistant Head Setter Compensation: $20/Hourly Weekly Hours: 3-10 **This job is for our soon to be open University district location. This role will start three weeks after our opening date, sometime in mid - late November. We will be hiring 2-3 individuals for this role**

Wall Maintenance Specialist Wall Maintenance Specialists are responsible for the cleaning of the climbing walls at Bouldering Project. Individuals in this position will regularly work one to three times per week and occasionally in preparation for events. Wall Maintenance Specialists are responsible for working safely and efficiently to prepare the climbing areas for setting rotations. They will also maintain in good condition all wall sections in the climbing area, as well as wash and sort climbing holds and volumes. General Responsibilities WALL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Remove modular climbing holds, volumes, tape, chalk, rubber, and detritus from climbing walls. Safely use approved cleaning products and procedures to wash climbing surfaces, holds and volumes. Maintain clean and functioning climbing walls. Wash and organize holds following directions of Head Setter. Organize and maintain Setting and Wall Maintenance supplies and tools. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Setting Shop. Follow closing/facility procedures. Other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS Many duties require the availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and events, including possible evenings and weekends. Duties sometimes occur before and after regular business hours. Team members should be able to lift 50lbs and be on their feet for extended periods of time. Team Members should also feel comfortable on ladders and working with hand tools. Wall Maintenance Specialists work as a team during the morning hours prior to the Setting day. Shifts are scheduled 1-2 times per week (Tuesday + Fri), beginning at 6am and ending at 9am or 12pm depending on the shift.
