WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Our client is a reputable, family-owned company located in the Central Western Suburbs that distributes medical equipment to the health care industry.
They are looking for a WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE.
TEMP TO HIRE Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) DUTIES include (but not limited to):
Picking and packing orders with high accuracy Assemble Parts and label/package for stock/orders Un-assembling and assembling items such as wheelchair upholstery & components Install wheelchair accessories Palletize orders for shipment Organize and process documentation for LTL shipments Schedule LTL shipments Load and unload vehicles Utilize material handling equipment such as hand truck, platform truck, pallet jack and cherry picker (Wave) while following all safety rules and regulations Maintain warehouse cleanliness Once hired will be doing deliveries in the Chicagoland area using vans and box truck QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED Must have valid driver's license 1+ years previous warehouse experience preferred Good written and verbal communication skills Able to read, write and speak English Computer skills required Knowledge of creating & scheduling LTL shipment preferred Basic hand & power tools experience (screwdriver, drills, etc.
) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail oriented Willingness to learn PHYSICAL DEMAND:
