Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory / property records.
Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Maintain an accurate physical inventory count and records.Handle salvage product.Check for outdated product.Checks in Delivery DriversInspects all returning trailersVerifies returned goods and damaged productMakes decisions about the disposition of returned goodsRe-enters goods into inventoryChecks Delivery Driver route tickets, customer orders and prepare for operations.Maintains accurate records of returnsFiles invoices and other documents on a daily basisReceives Delivery Drivers' receipts of the day's customer deliveriesReceives appointments as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned.Qualification:• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience• 6-12 months warehousing, inventory, or related area• Rider pallet jack experience • Must be able to learn or have experience with AS400 or SAP• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulations• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs.
