Description:
The Warehouse Attendant shall operate in the functions of Sorting, Stocking and Issuing material in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
He/she will ensure a safe and compliant operation during his/her shift.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment; hot when weather is hot and cold when weather is cold.
Greasy, dirty and noisy environment.
Work involves lifting, pulling and/or pushing of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
Standing and walking considerable distances.
Operation requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hardhats.
Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Qualifications:
1.1.
A High School diploma or equivalent experience as Warehouse Attendant.
1.2.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
1.3.
Manual dexterity required for operating, machinery.
1.4.
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and Warehouse Attendant.
1.5.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
1.6.
Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time.
2.
Responsibilities:
2.1.
Receive and Unload material or parts and store them in the Storeroom.
2.2.
Receive in AX all documents for deliveries throughout the plant.
2.3.
Maintain records, such as quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced.
2.4.
Employee must maintain good housekeeping ethics.
Work area must be free and clear of debris.
2.5.
Employee will assist in the verification of all loading and unloading of material for quality assurance.
2.6.
Assists in Inventory Control for verification of counts and material.
2.7.
Generate in AX new stocks and location for stock.
2.8.
Coordinate with Procurement Department and follow up on the material return process.
2.9.
Maintain the record of all item which are out for repair & follow up with vendor until return back to store.
2.10.
Employee must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.

Activities:
3.1.
Employee must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
3.2.
Employee must report to Maintenance Supervisor for briefing on daily tasks.
3.3.
Load, unload and verify material.
3.4.
Contact requester of their deliveries and dispatch the item.
3.5.
Ensure that materials meet their min - max for stock.
3.6.
Assist in inventory control when needed.
3.7.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and keep it free and clear of debris.

4.
Authority and Obligation:
4.1.
This position has the authority to stop an operation if he/she deems it necessary, for reasons of imminent safety and/or possible equipment damage.
However, he/she must notify the Operations Supervisor on duty and follow the established notification procedure if the interruption is for an extended time period.
