This is an on-site location in our LA-area warehouse About the Role Our Warehouse & Logistics Manager will manage our warehouse operations, across receiving, fulfillment, shipping and logistics. This is a hands-on role that will need to bring the "elbow grease" to support our fulfillment and logistics operations, but also to elevate our processes and protocols through polished business-backed improvements. The ideal candidate has on-the-ground experience in running and growing a warehouse, ideally in the apparel space, negotiating the fast-paced world of carrier logistics, and working with vendors for inbound and outbound shipments.
\n In this role, you will:Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, maintenance and fulfillment operationsLiaise and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and freight companiesStrategically arrange the warehouse, catalog products and process shipmentsChecking orders, bills, items received, inventory, deliveries and returns for accuracyHire and a lead a growing team of warehouse support employeesEnsure compliance with all laws and regulations, including standards of health, safety, hygiene and securitySetup warehouse to ensure efficient utilization of the spaceBuild and scale VIAVIA's standard operating proceduresPrepare and maintain records, reporting relevant informationOversee periodic cycle counts, working closely with our finance team to ensure proper reconciliationLead and coach a growing team through an inclusive lens, all while ensuring labor law compliance is being met.Ability to lead negotiations with carriers as needed.Wear multiple hats in a start-up environment – you will tackle other projects or assignments as needed to ensure VIAVIA continues its growth momentum Your experiences and skills include:5+ years experience in leadership in the warehouse, fulfillment or supply chain space. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 (USD). In the event a candidate is more qualified for a Senior Manager level role, the upper end of the compensation range is $130,000.
