About The Role The Warehouse & Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the receipt and storage of raw and packaging materials, ensuring accuracy against invoices.The role involves implementing a First Expiry First Out (FEFO) system and dispensing materials according to Batch Manufacturing Records.Regular monitoring of storage conditions and performing cleaning and calibration of instruments are key responsibilities.The specialist will oversee the receipt and dispatch of finished products and maintain compliance with company policies and cGMP standards.The position requires recording essential information in stock registers and performing cycle counts of raw materials and components.Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, or material handling.Proficiency in operating various forklift equipment, including reach trucks and seated forklifts, is essential for this role.A strong background in warehouse operations, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, is preferred, especially in injectable manufacturing facilities.The candidate should possess physical abilities to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering through tight spaces.Knowledge of regulatory guidance and standard operating procedures related to warehouse operations is crucial for success in this position.
