Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor who is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse professional to manage their fast-paced Warehouse operation at their site near Boston, Lincolnshire on a Monday – Friday basis.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Manage the warehouse team (c40 FTEs through 2 Direct Reports) in order to meet agreed budgets and drive KPIs operational covering costs, productivity and service standards to deliver a profitable service to customers.Support and manage the deployment and performance of the warehouse team in order to ensure the development and retention of accounts and maximize productivity within the business.Full budgetary control of all operational activities such as stock management, credit management and manage the company assets in the warehouse e.g.
cages, pallets to achieve agreed targets and broader depot goals.Identifying opportunities to ensure appropriate planning and resourcing, development, training is in place to meet the business performance.Demonstrate the expected behaviours and standards of a people leader to recruit, engage and develop the capability of their people and generate the right high-performance culture for the business.Warehouse Manager Candidate: From an FMCG background with excellent People Management skills; able to engage, motivate and achieve results.Excellent Communicator with previous Warehouse Management experience.Experience of effective cost management and able to work within tight budgetary controls.Customer driven with a collaborative and hands-on approach.This is a fantastic opportunity – we look forward to your application.
