Summary

: The Warehouse Manager oversees all activities around purchased materials and finished goods in support of operations. This includes assessment of shipping and receiving, inventory counts and loss management, quality control, and oversight of Asset Management System. This position will manage Inventory, Warehouse and Shipping and Receiving teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages inventory of purchased indirect materials used in support of operations.
Drives continuous improvement – Works with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement and develop/implement best practices/routines against Key Performance Indicators.
Identifies and resolves root causes of inventory losses, working with cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement preventive measures.
Manages reclamation of vendor quality issues and coordinates with buyers to ensure timely reimbursement.
Coordinates and manages daily and perpetual physical cycle counting cadence, and monitors and reviews daily inventory adjustments and changes and reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress and procedural efficiency as

requested.
Resolves inventory discrepancies, problem orders and intercompany transfer issues.
Analyzes and reports on inventory activities, cycle count process, changes and variances, including trends and root cause analysis.
Examines the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages while monitoring demand and analyzing data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
Oversees receiving and all warehouse activities to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
Responsible for monitoring and scheduling service on forklifts and coordinating service on freezer(s) in conjunction with the Refrigeration Manager.
Ensures the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.
Directs and prioritizes the daily activities of Shipping/Receiving personnel.
Assists with the development, revision and enforcement of inventory management and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, ISO procedures, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary.
Manages the delivery schedule of shipments. Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Oversees labor planning and scheduling of inventory control and warehouse staff – ensures all warehouse and inventory activities are completed timely, utilizing all personnel effectively. Includes prioritizing and delegating ad hoc requests in cooperation with operations personnel.
Leads, develops, and mentors team, manages performance, completes evaluations according to Trident procedures and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
Works with HR and Plant Management to resolve personnel and performance issues and determine course of action.
Additional Responsibilities:
Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production warehouse environment with prior supervisory or people leadership experience with duties that include shipping and receiving, warehouse and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with MRP and/or SAP
HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or equivalent education and related experience.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee moves objects
regularly up to 10 pounds

occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
