Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000
Benefits: Yes The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our logistics operations. This leadership position is responsible for the efficient and safe management of our facility, ensuring all warehousing activities align with company objectives. You will lead a dedicated team, manage logistics processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader passionate about optimizing operations and fostering a positive work environment. ResponsibilitiesSafety and Compliance: Champion a zero-accident culture by developing, implementing, and directing safety programs that protect personnel, equipment, and property.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and MSDS guidelines.Conduct safety training and report all work-related injuries immediately, ensuring prompt medical attention as necessary.Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.Manage labor scheduling, space utilization, and equipment to optimize warehouse operations.Lead the accurate and timely preparation, processing, and retention of all necessary reports and records related to warehouse activities.Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to improve operational efficiency and achieve budgetary goals.Process Improvement: Identify and implement methods to improve warehouse processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse performance.Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for company assets to ensure operational reliability.Leadership and Team Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.Identify training needs and ensure personnel are equipped and trained to perform their roles effectively.Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and guide employees toward improved performance.Facilitate team discussions for continuous quality improvement and innovation.Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with customers and facility visitors, showcasing warehouse processes and capabilities.Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service, Accounting, and Executives, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Facility Management: Oversee facility maintenance, utilities, security, and other miscellaneous facility-related issues.Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and maintained to company standards.Continuously assess and optimize the space layout plan to meet operational needs.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities3PL Software Expertise Proven experience with third-party logistics (3PL) software, including the ability to configure and utilize such systems effectively within a warehouse setting. This expertise is critical to ensuring smooth logistics operations and optimizing the use of technology in managing warehouse activities.General Competencies: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to effectively resolve technical problems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel required; Outlook recommended).Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor personnel at various levels.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Required QualificationsMinimum of 7 years' experience managing warehouses.Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel necessary; Outlook recommended).Highly skilled in verbal and written communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers.High school degree required; college degree preferred.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.Work EnvironmentMust be able to lift 50 pounds.Exposure to hot, cold, and outdoor weather conditions.Typical noise level is moderate.Other Duties
