The position will be based in Roanoke, TX
What we are searching for Supervise and provide work direction, assignments and feedback, maintenance and sanitation.
Supervise maintenance and sanitation activities in the distribution center.
Monitor preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facilities Ensure work assignments are completed on time and per specifications and safety guidelines.
Determine safety maintenance and inspection methods and instruct and train maintenance technicians on processes.
Negotiate parts purchases and terms.
Evaluate equipment and establish a life-cycle replacement program.
Ensure safe operation of refrigeration systems.
Requisition of parts and supplies and coordinate their flow through department.
Ensure that a safe and clean environment is maintained in all working areas.
Implement cost-saving measures within the department.
Perform an array of supervisory duties as outlined by the maintenance manager.
Review all work completed including preventative maintenance and examine work for exactness, neatness and adherence to policies and procedures.
Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of PSM programs and procedures.
Manage facility pest control procedures to comply with company policy, federal, state, and local laws, ensuring that all sanitation and maintenance staff adhere to established pest control protocols.
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and facility policies regarding food safety and sanitation, including the implementation and monitoring of food safety programs to maintain regulatory compliance.
Promote and enforce workplace safety practices by ensuring employees follow all relevant safety policies and procedures, comply with all federal and state laws, and promptly report unsafe conditions to maintain a safe working environment.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: AA in a technical or engineering field preferred.
HS Diploma or GED required.
Two - four years of work experience with refrigeration and/or electrical systems.
Two plus years supervising a team or staff.
Experience in overseeing Process Safety Management (PSM) with demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
Proven ability to manage pest control procedures in compliance with company policy and legal requirements, ensuring adherence by sanitation and maintenance staff.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and facility policies regarding food safety and sanitation, with experience in implementing and monitoring food safety programs.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, with the ability to enforce safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with laws, and address unsafe conditions promptly.
Must be able to manage effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance policies and safety measures.
Working knowledge of building maintenance and industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
Proven track record of cost reduction and increased productivity.
Operations planning knowledge preferred.
Working knowledge and experience with maintenance computerized maintenance management systems What is it like at Albertsons?
