SUMMARY
The Warehouse Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring that the quality of incoming and outgoing product conforms to documented specifications and requirements.
The individual in this position will work with operations shipping/receiving and other department to ensure established controls for product quality are maintained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.
Conduct and document quality control inspections according to company procedures. Prepare and record quality audits of the shipping, receiving, replenishment, and returns functions. Prepare quality control reports by compiling and analyzing data from a variety of sources.
Collect, analyze, and distribute specific quality control data and reports to internal and external customers.
Assist in the collection of productivity data, assembly of reports, and distribution of results.
Assist in the investigation of non-conforming products, with a focus on preventative and corrective action; conduct root cause analysis to ensure proper corrective action is taken.
Work with internal and external customer(s) to assist in reconciliation of product and vendor quality issues.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.
Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times.
Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS At least two years' experience in a related position, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
