Great company with competitive wage Job security and advancement opportunities Full training provided Excellent management and co-workers Weekly pay and benefits offered High demand product Position Summary The position is responsible for the preparation, loading and unloading of all material shipments to customers and that purchased materials have been received, documented and distributed to the appropriate department that ordered them. Job Duties/Responsibilities Operate forklift vehicles in a safe manner and follow all safety precautions established for forklift operations.
Prepare all shipments based on the shipping documents issued by Customer Service.
Verify that all shipments comply with the description as per bill of lading, shipping documents.
Responsible for receiving, distributing and storage of all shipping/receiving documents.
Prepare and organize shipments in advance whenever possible.
Participate in monthly and quarterly inventory audits.
Ensure all safety precautions during loading and unloading of trucks, as per work instructions, are followed.
Obtain drivers signature on packing slips.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Aisles and exits must be kept clear.
Ensure all shipments are accurate per the shipping order Ensure all receipts are correct per packing slip Adhere to all forklift and safety procedures Perform other tasks as may be assigned by Warehouse Supervisor Physical Requirements The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms and talk and hear.
