Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Warehouse Shipping Lead to provide warehouse management support as a part of the Warehouse management and support teams. The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.
Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager the candidate's responsibilities revolve around coordinating and overseeing outbound shipping Team operations and must be a fast starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment performing the following duties and responsibilities:
Create and maintain weekly shipping schedulePrioritize daily shipping schedule, assign and oversee work order executionCoordinate material handlers, and monitor supply ordersPrepare shipping documents, including those for hazardous materials and international shipmentsEnsure smooth shipping operations and maintaining high product qualityPrepare and distribute weekly/monthly status and weekly activity reportsPerforming quality control functions for inbound and outbound shipmentsOperate pallet jacks, forklifts, (Raymond Lift certification required within first 30-daysAssist in loading trucks, filling orders, and preparing shipments for pick up and deliveryPrepare BOL, inspect order for correct routing, quantities, and destinationSchedule trucks for freight orders and ensure on time pickup and deliveryTrain and assist employees on proper procedures and problem solve issues that arise Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or associate degree, and at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience.Or High school diploma/GED, and at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience.Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including any of the following areas of warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development; provisioning, supply support, and inventory control; logistics automated information systems and analysis tools; maintenance concepts and requirements analyses.Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Military Experience in a Supply Career Management Field.Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operations.Demonstrated experienced or knowledge related to Network Infrastructure equipment.Experience with packaging and handling of items prepared for storage and shipping.
