Job Description As a Warehouse Operations Specialist in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment, you will be responsible for interacting with external/internal parties and managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, with a key focus on accurate and timely data entry and updates within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities Daily Warehouse Operations:
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping operations.Warehouse Management System (WMS) Operation:
Data Entry: Input new inventory receipts, order data, and shipment details into the WMS.System Updates: Maintain and update WMS records for stock movements, order fulfillment, cycle counts, and other warehouse activities.WMS Reporting: Generate and review WMS reports to monitor warehouse performance, track KPIs, and report on inventory levels.Inventory Management:
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure WMS accuracy.Track and report inventory discrepancies, and coordinate necessary adjustments in the WMS.Ensure proper stock rotation and adherence to FIFO/LIFO methods, as required by clients.Customer Service & Client Interaction:
Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding order status, shipping schedules, and inventory inquiries.Resolve service issues quickly, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.Team Coordination & Leadership:
Train warehouse staff on proper use of the WMS and ensure all team members are up-to-date on system procedures.
