Job Description
The position of Warehouse Specialist II must perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed below in a timely, safe and professional manner while adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Responsibilities: Receive all incoming shipments into the warehouse while adhering to receipt proceduresPull stock to the production floor when requested in an accurate and timely mannerRemove all material from the production floor marked as overstock, count and place material in its designated warehouse locationComplete all material transfers requested by the Warehouse SupervisorWeigh and stage all mail brought to the shipping dock scanned as doneLoad all outgoing mail on the appropriate carriers and scan job jackets as deliveredEmpty and replace the bailer and recycling gaylords as necessaryTake all job jackets scanned as delivered into the office from the previous daySort and count AT&T return mail and provide counts to the Warehouse SupervisorEmpty all recycle bins in the Data CenterReplenish copy paper in the Data Center when necessaryComplete inventory destroys when instructedKeep the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion free from all garbage and debrisPerform weekly maintenance on the forkliftGather up and weigh all outgoing recycling when a pickup is scheduledHelp out in all other areas of the lettershop when necessaryMonitors and enforces the compliance of all departmental SOP's and safety regulationsPrepares necessary warehouse documents including Bill of Ladings, memo's and signageEnsures all material handling equipment is in safe operating conditionProposes ideas for increased performance of the departmentParticipates in ongoing training, and coaching of warehouse associates.Ensure proper safety procedures and general housekeeping guidelines are being followed.Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Previous warehouse experience in a fast paced environment production environmentP.C.-based computer literacy. Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Outlook.Good written and verbal communications skills.Certified on various types of lift equipmentAttention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Ability to work effectively as part of team.
