WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST ROLE OVERVIEW Warehouse Specialists assist various Assembly department functions and are an important part of the team's success. They handle inventory organization and control, shipping and receiving, and assembly of kits. This is a great position for someone who likes to be involved in a variety of activities and has an interest in mechanical or electrical machine assembly. The Warehouse Specialist position supports Kwik Lok production activities through the manufacture of Kwik Lok closures with a focus on continuing improvement of quality, food safety, and manufacturing processes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS Inventory:
Picking and filling parts from stockCycle countingInventory control, stocking, rotations, and movementsMaintain inventory of packaging material Shipping:
Fulfilling sales and transfer orders and verifying accuracy of itemsBuild packaging boxes, pallets, and cratesOperate forklift to bring pallets down from upper racksCreating freight and parcel shipping quotesPreparing shipping documents (BOLs, customs documentation)Tracking and receiving shipments using NetSuiteUse NetSuite to investigate inventory shortages and log updates Responding to issues regarding domestic and international shipmentsAssist with shipping department coverage when needed Other Duties:
