Responsibilities:Provide daily direction to warehouse employees who perform work in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading trucks, stocking, picking, packing and palletizing finished products, ensuring efficient operations and processes.Communicate with staff and employees to drive alignment and consistency to goals and company objectives.Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and housekeeping expectations and driver personal accountability.Address performance problems, recognition, and provide coaching where appropriate.Ensure policies and work practices are administered in a fair and consistent fashion.Ensure a continuous focus is placed on process improvement and reduction of waste.Empower and encourage employees to continually evaluate and improve daily processes.Ensure a safety-driven culture.Ensure expectations are clearly articulated, safe work practices are adhered to, and hold employees accountable for safety infractions.Investigate safety related issues or violations.Qualifications:3 years of progressive warehousing experience with 1 year of supervisory experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Ability to read, write and speak the English and Spanish (preferred) language to communicate with employees, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.Must be able to plan and organize work schedules.Must be able to communicate well, coach, lead, and empower people.Must be able to drive accountability, resolve conflict, and manage performance expectations.Must be able to apply situational leadership techniques in a changing team environment.Must be able to resolve problems and troubleshoot.Must be able to use creativity to seek quality solutions and process improvements while keeping in mind the needs of the business.Must be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.Must be able to anticipate the needs of internal and external customers and is self-directed in achieving results.Must be able to work any shift, as needed.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
