ROLE DESCRIPTION We're looking for a smart and driven individual to bring on as a warehouse supervisor to oversee operations at our fulfillment/reverse logistic center in Long Island City. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, recycling, cleaning and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. 
This role requires ability to multitask, and manage competing priorities.  You should have strong attention to detail, to  achieve inventory accuracy, and coordinate order fulfillment, components cleaning, inspecting, and day to day order packing. 
You will manage processes to ensure compliance with procedures, identify process improvements, and promote an environment where employees are engaged and empowered. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
This is an in - person role at our LIC facility with a salary rage of $50,000-$65,000 per year. ABOUT WESPER Mission driven startup aiming to make accurate sleep testing more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING Experience in warehouse operations, ensuring overall operations are  at peak efficiency  with customer satisfaction the primary goal  Experience supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals Training and management of warehouse team members to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals Experience in overseeing daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics Ability to review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service A strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, fulfillment, return check-in, recycling, and kit grouping.  Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time. Manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines Recommend and implement programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficient space utilization REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees Proficiency with warehouse procedures  Solid communication skills Understanding of Microsoft Office  Experience with warehouse, inventory and shipping software Understanding of cost implications, quality, and regulatory requirements Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly  Must be on-site at our facility in Long Island City BONUS ITEMS Experience working in a small start up manufacturing environment Technical or medical device experience OUR TEAM - Built for Good

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This role has a base salary of $50,000 - $65,000 The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
