Job Summary
Oversees the movement, processing, shipping, receiving, and control of raw donations and stored inventory. Coordinates and expedites the sale of salvage and/or recycling inventory and stored inventory. Champions initiatives that support a zero waste culture through the increase of landfill diversion, and leads the efforts to promote a more circular economy.
Essential Job Duties
Oversees warehouse operations; meets or exceeds warehouse operation goals; serves as a leader and role model for staff.
Strategize and Implement environmentally sustainable solutions to develop, promote and maintain Zero-Waste initiatives in alignment with the Strategic Plan of the Organization.
Hires, coaches, trains, evaluates, develops and disciplines staff.
Coordinates and expedites the sale of salvage and/or recycling inventory and stored inventory.
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials between locations in accordance with operational needs.
Reviews production schedules, confers with department supervisors to determine production requirements, arranges transfers of materials.
Operates forklift, baler, and lift tables in accordance with OSHA and LLGI standards.
Moves, transports, and prepares donated goods for delivery according to priorities and availability.
Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance with specifications.
Compiles and maintains material inventory records and prepares reports.
Oversees maintenance and care of warehouse equipment, machinery and facilities.
Analyzes warehouse operations, recognizes potential issues before they arise, and recommends appropriate solutions.
Prioritizes tasks; ensures warehouse production goals and deadlines are met.
Communicates the organization's mission, vision, values and promotes diversity.
Champions safety and loss prevention programs and handles loss control concerns.
Maintains quality control and drives operational improvements.
Manage expenses according to budget and prioritize accordingly
Travels to locations within the LLGI territory.
Ensures that the customer perspective (internal and external) is a driving force behind customer satisfaction; identifies customer service issues and creates solutions.
Identifies and corrects conditions that affect employee and customer safety.

Qualifications
Education, Experience and Credentials
Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires three years of experience in a warehouse/industrial setting, with one year supervisory experience.
Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
Requires certification as a forklift operator.
Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates understanding of profit and loss statements.
Requires basic math skills.
Requires ability to load and unload trucks according to standard.
Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel and the ability to utilize other software such as payroll.

Physical Requirements
Requires full use of body and ability to carry, lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.
Requires ability to stand for extended periods and lift, reach, bend, stoop and twist.
Requires visual acuity to operate machinery and process donations.
Requires ability to push or pull wheeled carts with a minimum weight of 150 pounds.
Requires ability to use pallet jack and stacker with loads ranging from 100 to 700 pounds safely.
Requires ability to push or pull wheeled z-racks with up to 100 pieces of clothing on them.
Requires ability to bend over and reach into gaylords up to 5 feet high to remove clothing and housewares.
Requires visual acuity to work in an environment with changing and/or low light levels.
Subject to transfer to other locations within the LLGI territory.
Environmental Conditions
Work in a light industrial/warehouse environment.
Subject to inside environmental conditions; exposure to heat and cold but protected from weather conditions.
Subject to exposure to dirt, dust, pet hair, mold and other allergens.
Subject to exposure to high and/or precarious places.
Tools and Equipment
Forklift, baler, lift table, pallet jack, stacker, scales, compactor, wheeled spring carts, wheeled deep carts, wheeled z-racks, 2 wheel dollies (hand truck), 4 wheel flat carts, material lifts, furniture dollies, trash bin/can, trash dumpster, personal protective equipment, basic tools of the assigned work area, phone / two way radio, computer, fax, janitorial equipment and cleaning solvents.
