Warehouse Worker Location Mount Pleasant, SC : Warehouse Worker responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. Your primary goal will be to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices.
Sort, label, and store items in designated areas within the warehouse.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for safe and proper handling of materials.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Perform other duties such as cycle counts, restocking shelves, or assisting in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
Basic math and computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work in different shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Additional Pay when assigned to second shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.
Experience in a distribution or logistics environment is a plus.
