Position Details:
Our Warehouse Worker assists the Program Manager with clerical functions such as telephone communications, interpersonal communications with outside agencies, data entry, coping, faxing and email; ordering, and distribution of all products; operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and packaging wrapping systems in a safe manner; performing routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment; supports management by maintaining excellent purchasing vendor, site managers, and Samaritas staff relationships.
Must have a valid, unrestricted Chauffers License with good driving record.

This position has a pay rate of $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities Assists the TEFAP Program Manager with the clerical processing, ordering, and distribution of all productsMaintains complete paperwork.
Operates warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Pallet Jacks and Packaging wrapping systems in a safe mannerPerform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment, document, and update schedule as necessaryCleaning and disinfection warehouse areas, such as hard surface mechanical cleaning with floor cleaning machines, mopping, and washing of surfacesOrganize incoming stock in the warehouse and complete and file all related paperworkCommunicate effectively and tactfully with residents, guests, and volunteers of the Family CenterRead and follow written and oral instructions in response to appointments, scheduling, and reportingPrepare and deliver orders to local pantries
