Warranty Manager

Job Description

Manage the warranty support team, including both direct and indirect associates. Responsible for supporting the product warranty process from initial Customer claim response to claim closure by technical and commercial disposition.

** PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: **

Ensure warranty team operates efficiently, achieves targets, meets customer support expectations and works as a cooperative units within the Rexroth organization.

To ensure customers receive a prompt and professional response to their Bosch Rexroth warranty claims.

Monitor of warranty claims and ensuring processing of in a timely and efficient manner.

Review accuracy of claim data to drive internal processes as well as ensure accurate Business Unit reporting of PPM.

Monitor incoming debits to ensure timely processing and address clarity issues.

Processing of Warranty agreements to ensure commercial disposition of claims are inline.

Support of plant-to-plant claims for containment, inspection and rework of product as required.

Communicate and maintain escalation of claims as needed by claim risk level estimate.

Establish and Support Product Improvement Plan Agreements to address product reliability and commercial impacts in customer field campaigns.

Interfacing with internal Departments to analyze rejects to determine root cause as well as supporting containment actions up to and including product recertification.

Processing of charge-backs for accurate cost allocation.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field required, exact experience considered as substitute

Hydraulic technology experience is required.

Excellent Business Administration, Project Planning, Communication and Management skills required

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Capable of traveling potentially as much as 20%.

Skilled in use of SAP

Team-oriented work attitude to effectively promote and direct the warranty group.
