Experience and Knowledge: Direct experience in implementing Water Quality Management and Protection Best Management Practices (BMPs). In-depth knowledge of Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) standards, City of Seattle requirements, Project Section 401 Water Quality Certification standards, and WQMPP (Water Quality Monitoring and Protection Plan). Experience with Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) regulations and other state and local water quality standards. 3. Duties and Responsibilities: Updating the WQMPP (Water Quality Monitoring and Protection Plan) in compliance with regulatory standards such as the Section 401 Water Quality Certification. Managing the WQMPP during the construction phase by updating the plan to address any changes required for meeting water quality standards. Overseeing BMP installation and maintenance, ensuring all BMPs perform as intended, and rectifying any deficiencies or damaged BMPs promptly. Maintaining and updating the WQMPP based on site conditions and work methods. Participating in meetings and inspections, including pre-activity meetings and weekly Task Force meetings to report updates and progress on WQMPP activities. Identifying and implementing adaptive management strategies and new BMPs not initially included in the WQMPP. Ensuring continuous communication with relevant stakeholders, such as WSDOT and Ecology, to keep the plan aligned with the latest standards and expectations. 4.
