The Engineering Department at Pure Cycle is the primary design Contractor for Rangeview Metropolitan District overseeing the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water utilities in portions of Arapahoe & Weld County. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Design water and wastewater projects from inception to project close-out. Aid in developing water rights, project management, & regulatory permitting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign water and wastewater infrastructure projects including wells, surface water diversions, treatment plants, storage tanks/ponds, and distribution facilities. This task includes all aspects of project management including surveying, design, regulatory approvals, permitting, submittal review, material costing and purchasing, field inspections, and project startup.Manage consultants, construction crews, and contractors to ensure success in all aspects of project deliverables. Address field changes and assist with maintenance items. Create exhibits and application materials for various projects.Draft reports and aid with contracts between various water and wastewater customers.Review and track infrastructure acceptance materials following construction including inspection videos, pressure test data, and as-builts. Evaluate water usage data and aid in water rights accounting requirements.Participate in the streamlining and improvement of a growing water utility in the Denver-Metro area. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar scientific field and two years of related professional career experience. Candidates with Master's of Science degrees or continued education are preferred.
