This role in summary
The PM Pillar Specialist will play a major role in the deployment of the World Class Manufacturing System within the Racine Manufacturing Facility. This position will lead, and track the implementation of PM Pillar methodology KPIs and problem-solving tools usage to drive a zero breakdown culture.
The focus will include training and coaching team members, document development,  implementation of maintenance theory, audit support, leading recurring meetings, and gap closure action items.
Your responsibilities will include
Assist with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities including training and PM pillar requirements/needs.
Under the guidance of the Pillar leader, implement actions to achieve strategic goals.
Establish and lead recurring meetings.
Follow up with PM team members on open actions.
Identify gaps to plan in the PM pillar and support actions to close them.
Lead training to support improvement activities on different WCM methods.
Present PM Pillar KPIs, Kaizens, and action plans to all levels of the organization.
Update, track, and maintain the PM Pillar KPIs (Mean Time to Repair, Mean Time Between Failures, Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on area boards.
Become proficient in the use of the WCM tools with the AST, Production Techs, and Maintenance team.
Learn and develop a working knowledge of CMMS for data collection and reporting (FIIX), tracking PM tags, and the tag closure rate.
Follow up on breakdowns to make sure Emergency Work Orders (EWOs) are being triggered and with the PM Team, complete root cause analysis techniques to get to a single point root cause.
Lead and support Kaizens on behalf of the PM team.
Working with Technicians/Maintenance, assisting with the development and documentation of Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs), One Point Lessons (OPL), and Machine Ledgers.
Support other pillar leads with the PM Pillar.
Complete all required paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
Follow all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, clean/restock area at the end of shift.

Minimum requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a technical or Maintenance background.

Preferred experience implementing improvement initiatives.

Google Suite knowledge and use preferred.

Verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills and attention to detail

Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving skills

Good project management skills for handling multiple activities

Strong Google Suite skills, including presentation creation

Excellent interpersonal skills

Availability to work overtime or cross-over shifts (shift can be flexible)

Machine/mechanical knowledge and background preferred
