The BTS team manages the online and mobile experience for Morgan Stanley at Work and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management clients and manages the products offered through those channels.RoleMorgan Stanley's CIS/BTS team is seeking a Project Manager to provide program management support for domestic and international initiatives focused on business integration and building out wealth management offerings. This role will coordinate across a multi-disciplinary team (e.g. Tech, LRC, Business, Operations, the Field, Marketing, Finance, etc.) with a key focus on project execution, risk and issue management, and governance reporting. The primary role of the Project Manager is to ensure Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley at Work initiatives, enabling the business objectives and key results, are achieved, on schedule, on budget and within the firm's legal, risk and regulatory framework.The role requires someone who is flexible and able to respond to a dynamic business environment with a focus on delivering quality solutions for the business in a timely fashion.Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:Manage project roadmap that documents key milestones, timeline, and areas of risk across a given portfolioDevelop senior management program dashboards that articulate project status andtimelineManage multiple projects and workstreams in parallelCreate meeting agendas, drive discussions and solutions along with capturing notesProvide transparency to stakeholders into progress towards project goalsEnsure delivery of key project artifacts and deliverablesLiaise with product owners and legal, risk and control partners on review and approval of content impacting a projectDocument senior management meeting minutes and replay back to audienceEnable appropriate escalation of any item that may impact timely delivery or cause a change to the agreed scope of projectSupport product owners in creating management level deck on specific deliverables as neededPartner with technology project managers to gain commitment on project milestonesDevelop strong partnerships with business and technology teams to drive successful project executionEngage with vendors and/or other third parties on project deliverablesOther duties as assignedQualifications & Skills Required4-6 years of experience of process improvement, business analysis, product management and/or project management experienceSelf-starter with proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiativesAbility to identify problems and provide a path for solution or escalationProven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various stakeholdersStrong organizational skillsStrong listening and verbal/written communications and inter-personal skills with ability to tailor message to audienceAbility to work independently, proactively and possess a strong sense of accountability/ownershipFamiliar with SDLC processes (e.g., Waterfall) and Agile MethodologyEagerness to learn the business and understand detailed technical requirementsFlexibility to take on a variety of tasks, where needed, and ability to function in rapidly changing, fluid environmentsAbility to use desktop tools to develop presentations for senior managementFamiliarity with Fraud Controls, system authentication and entitlements preferred, but not requiredHighly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and TeamsThe position will be based in New York, NY·BA/BS PreferredExpected base pay rates for the role will be between 130,000 and 149,000 per year at the commencement of employment.However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Morgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
