Team Profile:
The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community.
The role will reside within Wealth Management Finance which is a team dedicated to providing support to Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management segment (MSWM), specifically the Consulting Group, MSWM's Advisory Platform. Members of the Wealth Management Finance team can expect to be involved in accounting, finance, and process transformation.

Responsibilities:
>Coordinate with CFO senior management for the financial support of the WM Consulting Group business.
>Interact with Consulting Group business leads and subject matter experts to provide product KPIs and recurring/ad-hoc analyses
>Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis coverage - analyze revenues, expenses, assets, flows and other financial metrics, that includes delivery of comprehensive quarterly due diligence materials to senior management ahead of earnings release.
>Oversee financial statement production and analysis.
>Leverage financial data platforms to develop enhanced analytics which includes production, maintenance, and enhancements of dashboards. Summarize results to give easily understandable explanations for complex problems (both on standard and ad-hoc basis).
>Build and run models for forecasting/budgeting and meet with business partners to review numbers periodically and discuss initiatives
>Run business models for the quarterly and annual stress testing and discuss results with senior management
>Partnership with various groups across the firm as it relates to projects, financial close and controls (Financial Control Group, Operations, Corporate FP&A, Strategy and Data Analytics).
>Monitor close activity through BD1-4 and ensure results are in line with business expectations.
Requirements:
>Preferred undergraduate degree in accounting with 4+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
>Advanced Excel, DataIku, and Tableau knowledge
>Experience with SAP general ledger software a plus / Oracle Business Objects / TM1
>Experience with financial planning, advanced data analysis, and modelling
>Desired strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and analytical skills
>Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with members of the senior management team and others within the Company

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
