Role Summary
We are seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Web Specialist to join our dynamic Global Content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our TWR Global Content websites, ensuring that our websites are user-friendly, updated with fresh content, and optimized for search engines. The Web Specialist will work closely with various departments to enhance website functionality, integrate new technologies, and monitor web traffic. Currently, the websites to manage are Mission 66 English, The Better FM, Morning Buzz and Worship ConneXion.
Please note: This position can be filled as a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), in which case the approved candidate would need to develop a team of partners to provide financially for their full salary and benefits. Web Specialist: Cary, North Carolina (USA)
Our Global Content team is seeking a creative, analytical mind to join their ranks and help keep our web resources in peak shape to serve seeking souls the world over.
Key Responsibilities: Creative: Create content and work with other content creators to ensure that the websites' content is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with SEO best practices.Collaborate with the Marcom team to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into the website.Lead a collaborative team on new web design and development projects in Global Content, providing input on layout, aesthetics, and functionality.Analysis and User Engagement/Experience: Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic and user behavior, using tools like Google Analytics, to inform strategy and improvements.Optimize web content for SEO to improve visibility and rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs).Stay current with emerging web technologies and digital trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the user experience and website performance.Develop, test, and implement website updates and enhancements, ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.Maintenance: Coordinate with IT for domain management, hosting, and other web services.Identify, report, troubleshoot and resolve website issues with the help of IT, Marcom, and Digital teams.Ensure website compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and legal requirements.Qualifications: Experience in website content creation.Experience in web design, development, and maintenance.Familiarity with graphic design software and web design principles.Experience with content management systems.Understanding of web analytics and familiarity with analytics platforms.Knowledge of SEO principles and familiarity with SEO tools.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
