You'll be the go-to person for sales, coordination, planning, and flawless execution of every couple's big day. You'll build strong, lasting relationships with wedding planners and industry pros to turn The Charter into a premier wedding destination. By driving wedding business, you'll not only create dream weddings but also help crush room revenue and food & beverage goals. Duties Include: The Wedding Sales Manager will handle all aspects of wedding sales, planning, and execution, from soliciting new and existing clients and conducting site tours to managing rooming lists, F&B minimums, contracts, and day-of logistics. You'll leverage your food and beverage expertise to upsell, manage special banquet requests, and collaborate with the Executive Chef, while overseeing event staffing, room setups, and labor costs to ensure smooth operations. You'll also coordinate with accounting and reservations for accurate billing and group accommodations, lead BEO reviews, and host tastings to guarantee flawless events and drive revenue.
Location: The Charter, Beaver Creek, CO
Employment Status: Full Time Year Round
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Monday - Friday, varies during wedding season
Pay Rate: $60 - $70k annually, depending on experience, eligible for sales incentive plan

Minimum Requirements This role requires strong communication, organization, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members. Creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability are essential for delivering unique, flawless events while managing unexpected challenges. Sales, marketing, and negotiation skills help close deals and secure the best services, while proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and event planning software ensures smooth execution. Familiarity with local vendors, customer service experience, and either event planning certification or 2+ years of experience round out the ideal candidate's qualifications.
