Minimum 1+ years imaging experience required. Soliant Health is partnering with a hospital in Virginia to help hire a CT tech for a 13 week travel assignment. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Requirements: 1+ year of experience as a CT tech in a hospital setting Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and VA State License required. BLS Certification: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Job Responsibilities: Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring optimal image quality. Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images. Operate CT equipment, ensuring proper settings and technique. Process and analyze images, identifying any abnormalities. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to strict radiation safety guidelines and protocols. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
