Weld Fitter (Days)

Position Title: Weld Fitter
Location: Auburn Hills
Shifts Needed: Days
Days | Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p
Responsibilities Analyze the blueprints to determine the specifications, tolerances, and locate/read the stock list on a drawing Construct structural components from raw materials Use welding equipment to fuse structural components Inspect fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed Ability to saw, miter, and fit fabrications (fit and tack) Replace damaged or defective structural components as needed Certified in TIG and MIG welding Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assigned Skills Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to concentrate for extended periods Strong analytical skills Problem solving skills Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Exceptional welding Experience Proven experience working as a fitter Minimum of 2 years' experience Education High School Diploma or equivalent Redline Resources is an equal opportunity employer, offering equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, marital status and any other characteristic protected by law.
