Weld & Forming Process Engineer

Job Summary:RaiZan Solutions, a prominent recruitment agency, is currently on the lookout for a well-rounded Weld & Forming Process Engineer to become part of our client's team based in Ripon, Wisconsin. This role is integral to our engineering department, where you'll be instrumental in the design, enhancement, and streamlining of welding and forming processes for our clientele in the franchise industry. We're seeking someone with a solid foundation in welding and forming methodologies, coupled with a fervor for troubleshooting and refining processes.Responsibilities:Evaluate machinery, methodologies, procedures, and operations to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing safety, quality, output, and efficiency while minimizing costs.Implement changes and refine standards to boost operational effectiveness. Assess proposals from suppliers for new equipment procurement and oversee their integration.Identify and deploy appropriate manufacturing processes, utilizing contemporary organizational strategies to ensure competitive cost structures.Continuously enhance existing and new manufacturing processes through ongoing improvement initiatives.Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment functionality.Perform Capability Studies and Time Studies to optimize process efficiency.Develop Visual Work Instructions and offer production support and troubleshooting assistance.Lead cost reduction endeavors, with a focus on reducing scrap, rework, and cycle times.Specify tools, jigs, and fixtures for optimal manufacturing process performance. Manage projects and deliver daily troubleshooting support.Participate actively in Kaizen events to drive process enhancements.Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on expertise.2-4 years of engineering project involvement in metal manufacturing.Proficient in Lean manufacturing methodologies, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis.Proficiency with Creo, AutoCAD, and MS Office.EEOC Statement:RaiZan Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
