We are seeking welder to join our team in Newark, DE.
This role is essential to producing components for solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generators.
The welder will report to the manufacturing supervisor and will work full on-site.Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret work instructions to determine welding requirementsPerform welding in horizontal, vertical and overhead positionsOperate welding equipment per the operating manualOperate hoists, power lift stands and load/unload jigsPhysical Requirements: Prolonged standing and repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordinationMust wear PPE May require wearing a respirator or passing a fit test Skills and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in TIG Welding (DC, AC, pulsed TIG), stick welding (SMAW), and Oxy-Acetylene TorchMinimum 1 year of hands on manufacturing experience required, 2-3 years preferredPreferred experience with TIG welding on INCONEL/Stainless steel Preferred experience interpreting welding printsPreferred valid welding certification from an accredited institutionMechanical skills and ability to use basic shop tools and equipment requiredWork Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 5:30PM Fridays may require mandatory OT when needed SIGN ON BONUS!We are now offering a $500 NET sign on bonus !

Safety practices must be followed during testing.
Written verification of welding credentials is required prior to testing.
Misrepresentation of crednetials will results in personal liability for any damages during testing.
