Position: Welder Location/s: Ashland, VA Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00/Hour (Depending on Experience) Shift: 2nd Shift Duration: Full-Time, Contract to Hire
\n Duties / Responsibilities:Read and comprehend engineering drawings and process specifications required to fabricate high tolerance, complex parts.Safely and accurately operate welding and metal forming equipment to produce parts in accordance with drawing and specification requirements, and safe operating procedures.Meet targets for safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, and cost.Produce and verify work according to production schedule and specified requirements.Report production output accurately.Ensure work areas are neat and organized.Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Qualifications:Experience in Fluxcore MIG weldingMust be able to pass a flat 1G weld test but would prefer 3G weldingAppropriate judgment and common sense in decision makingAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and specificationsAble to read and understand inspection equipment (micrometers, rulers, calipers)Excellent attention to detailBasic math skills are essentialGood communication skillsDependability, detail orientation
