About the Opportunity
The Wellness Director oversees the Wellness department with the goal of providing a safe, homelike environment where residents can achieve and maintain their fullest level of wellness and function.
Utilizes sound management principles to maintain a motivated and stable staff.
Manages resident health and wellness through regular resident monitoring and communication to the community Wellness team, residents' primary care providers and other health services providers.
Engages in ongoing personal development in geriatric care, leadership skills, communication skills, and management skills.
May be asked to assume responsibilities of the Executive Director in their absence to maintain smooth community operation.

Preferred Qualifications Current unencumbered nursing license in Texas.
Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or health care.
Previous supervisory experience in the health care environment required.
Current CPR certification.
