Workforce Edge Success Coaches serve as a one-stop shop to support students through the utilization of their employer's tuition assistance benefit. Success Coaches provide personalized end-to-end support (primarily outbound) to guide students toward success in line with their academic goals and interests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with program advisors to ensure a smooth transition for employees into their chosen education program. Regularly communicate with employees throughout their academic journey primarily via outbound communication tools and methods Assist employees in setting and achieving academic goals, developing effective study habits, and managing their time effectively. Help employees navigate academic challenges and connect them with appropriate resources, such as tutoring services or academic support programs. Monitor student progress and provide feedback on performance, identifying areas for improvement and potential roadblocks. Track key milestones and deadlines, proactively providing reminders and ensuring employees stay on track with their education plan. Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews to assess progress and celebrate achievements. Develop and deliver workshops and resources on academic success, study skills, and time management. Maintain positive relationships with employees, employers, and educational institutions. Job Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport and trust. Active listening and empathetic communication to understand individual challenges and provide personalized support. Coaching and mentoring skills to effectively guide individuals towards achieving their academic goals. Motivational and encouraging coaching style to inspire and empower individuals to persevere through challenges. Familiarity with common academic challenges and effective strategies to overcome them. Knowledge of student support services and resources available at various educational institutions. Data analysis and reporting skills to track student progress and measure coaching effectiveness. Strong relationship-building skills to develop trust and maintain positive connections with diverse stakeholders. Proficient in using phone, email, and chat (and ability to navigate between them seamlessly) to provide excellent customer service. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education advising, academic coaching, or related field. Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional students preferred. Proven ability to provide effective guidance and support to individuals pursuing educational goals. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
