Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a team of procurement agents
Manage staffing (hiring, coaching, performance reviews) for a team of procurement
Organize the activities of the team (define portfolios, tasks …)
Manage all procurement activities for a portfolio of vendors (~60 active vendors)
Ensure adherence to standards and procedure and propose procedure updates
Manage complex problem resolution to improve performance on procurement in a sustainable fashion
Manage shortages
Identify shortages impacts
Work with internal teams (planning, programs, sales …) to allocate resources
Define supplier performance improvement plans
Is the primary escalation contact for vendors escalation
Manage inventories
Measure current and calculate future inventories
Define strategies to improve inventories
Define target stock levels
Manage the Sales and Operation activities for the external supply chain
Monitor multiple performance KPI (demand stability, PO release rate, PO acknowledgement rate, adherence, OTD …)
Review trends and coordinate action plan at the vendor or the commodity level with other departments
Prepare and attend the S&OP reviews
Make sourcing recommendations
Focal point on ERP procurement activities
Implement macros, Power BI and other tools to develop tasks automation when relevant
Leads a QRQC and participate in higher level QRQC (2 and 3)

Job requirements
Master's Degree or equivalent college credit required
Green Belt Certified
CPIM Basic certified
5+ years of experience in a production or materials function
