What's involved in this role:
We are looking for a Whey Operator in Weyauwega, WI.
The Whey Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various positions in the whey department, processing whey into high quality whey ingredients by following standard procedures, method and practices.
$27.07/hour
$1.50 Shift Differential
Double Time on Sundays and holidays
2-2-3 Rotational Schedule7:00 pm – 7:00 am
What you need to join our team:
Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Operate Lactose System & Crystallizers including:Start-Up, Shutdown, CIP, Hourly Readings and Packaging.
Operate Reduce Lactose Dryer & Finisher including:Start-Up, Shutdown, CIP, Hourly Readings and Packaging.
Operate Evaporator, HTST, Separators and Filtration Equipment including:Start-Up, Shutdown, CIP, Hourly Readings.
Operate RO System and Polisher including:Start-Up, Shutdown, CIP, Hourly Readings.
CIP Tanks, Silos and Line Circuits as required.
Perform Laboratory Sample Tests as required.
Complete Master Sanitation Tasks as required.
Safely and efficiently load and unload Dry Cargo Trailers.
Safely and efficiently load and unload Tanker Trucks
Safely and efficiently operate a Lift Truck.
No experience required; in house training provided
Willingness to learn and work as a team
Desire to grow with a stable company

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 225 employees. This facility produces award-winning feta and aged cheddar cheese, as well as lactose and reduced lactose whey.
Weyauwega is a quaint rural community of 1,900, offering the opportunity for both rural and urban living.
